By using NovoBizAlert you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. Service description
NovoBizAlert is a SaaS platform that detects new business openings in user-defined geographic zones, with alerts and data exports for prospecting purposes.
2. Acceptable use
You agree to use NovoBizAlert only for legitimate commercial purposes. You may not:
- Resell or redistribute our data without express written permission.
- Attempt to bypass plan limits, security controls, or rate limits.
- Use the data to harass, spam, or harm any business or individual.
3. Subscriptions and payments
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance via Stripe. You can cancel anytime from your dashboard. Refunds are not provided for unused time in the current billing cycle.
4. Limitation of liability
NovoBizAlert is provided "as is" and used entirely at your own risk. We offer no warranties on commercial outcomes, conversion rates, or revenue generated from the data. We are not responsible for business decisions, contacts made, or expenses incurred based on the information we provide. The data is gathered from public business directories and we make best efforts for accuracy, but we cannot guarantee 100% completeness, correctness, or that a listed business is currently operating, accepting clients, or open to new vendors. By subscribing you acknowledge that any commercial action taken with this data is your sole responsibility.
5. Account termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, you may export your data within 30 days; afterwards, your data will be permanently deleted.

7. Features in development
Some features mentioned on the website or pricing page are part of our roadmap and not currently active. Their availability depends on milestones such as reaching our first cohort of paying customers and platform stability. These features include:
- Web push notifications (browser push when new businesses are detected) — coming soon. Meanwhile, the in-app bell dropdown shows all new leads.
- Automatic background scans every 4 hours.
- Multi-seat / team accounts on Enterprise plan.
- Polygon-shaped zone drawing on the map.
Subscribing to any paid plan grants access to the core service (zone monitoring + on-demand business discovery + lead export). Features above are best-effort additions and are not contractually guaranteed deliverables. We will not refund based on the absence of any roadmap feature.
8. "Likely new" leads — heuristic disclosure
The platform may flag certain business listings as "Likely new". This label is a probabilistic heuristic — not a verified opening date. It is currently computed from the number of public ratings a business has on third-party directories: businesses with a low review count are statistically more likely to be recently opened, recently listed, or operating quietly. None of the data sources we currently use expose a verified opening date, so we cannot guarantee that a business labeled "Likely new" is, in fact, freshly opened. Many businesses with few reviews have been operating for years.
The "Detected" date shown next to each lead is the date our system first discovered that business on your account, not the date the business opened to the public. By using the platform you acknowledge this distinction and accept that any outreach decision made based on the "Likely new" label is your sole responsibility.
9. Email enrichment — verification disclosure
When you discover a business via NovoBizAlert, our engine runs an in-house multi-source cascade automatically — at no extra cost beyond the 2-credit-per-lead discovery fee: (1) it queries the Google Places API for the verified business profile (name, address, phone, website, rating); (2) it fetches the business website (HTML, mailto: links, contact pages, footer) and extracts click-to-message links — including any WhatsApp number — plus public social profile URLs (third-party social brands such as Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn are detected by URL pattern only); (3) if the website surfaced a public social profile and we still didn't find a WhatsApp number, the engine fetches that public profile page and tries one more extraction. Any public email returned as a side-effect is stored as-is (no deliverability check). Trademark notice: any third-party brand name referenced above (Meta, WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google, etc.) is the property of its respective owner. NovoBizAlert is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of these companies.
However, "most likely" verified does not mean "100% guaranteed deliverable". Some mail servers accept any address at the SMTP layer (catch-all domains), some block verification probes, and some mailboxes are deactivated between our check and your send. We make no warranty of deliverability, reply rate, or accuracy of the verified email. Always honor unsubscribe requests and comply with anti-spam laws (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, LGPD) in your jurisdiction. If a verified email bounces, you may re-verify the lead — re-verification is charged only when a new field is found.
